It Started as Survival

In the quiet hours between business calls and bedtime stories, between legal battles and lunch prep, I found myself humming. Then singing. Then writing.

Music became my self-soothing when the chaos felt too loud. When motherhood, entrepreneurship, and life's storms collided all at once, worship was the only thing that made sense. These weren't polished songs at first — just raw prayers set to melody, honest conversations with God that I never intended anyone else to hear.

Praise in the Midst of It All

 

There's something powerful about praising God when you're standing in the rubble of what you thought your life would look like. When you're fighting for your kids safety, building businesses from scratch, and wondering how you'll make it through another day — that's when worship becomes real.

I didn't write music because I had it all figured out. I wrote because I didn't.​

A World Aflame: My First Released Single

This song is my offering , honoring Baby Jesus, the Prince of Peace born into a world that desperately needed (and still needs) a Savior.

​

"A World Aflame" isn't just about the chaos around us. It's about the Light that came into darkness. It's about Emmanuel,  God with u,  in the manger, in the madness, in the mundane moments of what society has taught us what Christmas is about and everything in between.

​

I wrote this song in a season when everything felt that it was time to show my children, my God given ministry. And in that fire, I remembered: He came for this. For the broken world. For the weary. For the overwhelmed. For all of us trying to hold it together while the world falls apart.

​

Why I'm Releasing It Now

Because maybe you need to hear it too.

Maybe you're in your own fire season,  juggling impossibilities, fighting battles no one sees, wondering if God really shows up in the mess.

 

Maybe you're self-soothing with scrolling when what you really need is a song that reminds you: you are not alone, and this is not the end of the story.

From the high desert of Wyoming to your headphones, this is my first step in sharing what God has given me through the hardest seasons. It's imperfect. It's honest. And it's an invitation to worship even when — especially when — the world feels aflame.
