Now on to my project, I wanted to create a sweet card that was not Easter themed. For this, I used Heffy Doodle Honey Bunny Boo stamp set and Honey Heffy Cuts.

To begin my card, I stamped the bunnies, die cut them and colored them with Copic markers. Then I attached them to the back of my Story Book die.
Now it’s time to create my background, so I trimmed a piece of cardstock to the exact measurement of my die.

I blended Altenew Crisp Inks in Sea Glass,

I then added foam adhesive to the back of my die

and placed the blended cardstock.

Now to work on my card base, I stamped the carrots in the same Sea Glass color.

Placed the bunny window on to the card base.

For my sentiment, I die cut the Honey from the Heffy Cuts from a light blue cardstock four times.

and glued them together

Then heat embossed the “hello” on gray cardstock,

and trimmed to a strip to place over the window,

I then added the Honey Heffy Cuts slightly over the “hello”,

And that’s it! We have a completed card!

  1. I love this card and have just been shopping to get the stamps and the dies. What a perfect card. The DT have inspired me so much. Perfect card – I love the colours and the design. Thank you

  2. Awe Crystal I love the stamped carrots on the card base, I am looking for different ways to create backgrounds for my own hand made cards this year and that technique is ideal. Initially I did not see it as it was very subtle, but that is great because subtle is sometimes what you want. Such a pretty colour ink used. Thank you. :O)

  3. Thanks for the step-by-step you created with the pictures for this card those bunnies are absolutely adorable and I love how you place them inside the storybook die.

  4. What a sweet card. You’re inspiring me to see how different the card would be just changing color scheme. I will be definitely lifting this design

  5. Love your Honey Bunny Boo card, Crystal! They are so fun, sitting in the window – They look sp at home there! Great use of the new release!
