Hi there! Welcome to my stop of the amazing Studio Katia Blog Hop! The newest Winter release was dropped and available as of yesterday and the design team has created some beautiful inspiration. You should have arrived here from the talented Laura Volpes blog.

I have one project for you today as I am saving up all my creative juices for our crafty LIVE VIDEO on Thursday over on the Studio Katia Youtube and Facebook. So put it on your calendar. Thursday 12pm MST, 11am PST! There is a giveaway for watching live. So anyway, back today’s hop. I have a ONE LAYER card for you, made with the newest release.

To make this card, I stamped the flowers from the Poinsettia Border Stamp set, on two corners of the card. Then with the same Copic friendly ink, I stamped the sentiment from the same set. Once that was done, I started my Copic coloring on the flowers and the leaves. Adding a very pink outline on the sentiment.

To add the background color, I used my AMAZING Studio Katia brushes to add the pink distress oxyde. Since the brushes are quite tiny, i didnt have to mask anything.

As a finishing touch I added the Clear Drops Mix Two and a little bit of Nuvo Drops in the center of the flowers.

The whole thing is super EASY and took about 10 minutes to do. I really like how it will not cost extra to mail this fun card.

Now let me tell you about the GIVEAWAY!

  • Studio Katia is giving away a $50 CAD gift certificate on their Blog.
  • All comments must be left by Friday, November 1st, 2019, 23:59 PM EST.
  • All winners will be announced on Sunday, November 3rd, 2019 on SK Blog.

I too have a GIVEAWAY too! But you will need to pop on over to my INSTAGRAM to get your entry.

That is all today guys! Below I am adding all the nitty-gritty details on what I used and WHERE to get them.

Your next stop is Tracy Freeman, but if you get lost on the hop, or just arriving here is the full line up!

Cheers!

  3. Wow. The colors really pop on this card. I never would have thought of using these two brights together, but it makes for a stunning card/
